Default sorry desi...

Hi desi,

I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am that you are suffering the way you are I don't really have any answers for you I'm afraid....I'm unable to take high dosages of neurontin myself, I only take 300mg at bedtime. I wish there was something more I could do or say to help you. You are always so kind and supportive to everyone and want you to know how much you are appreciated. Hope you get some relief soon, jen

Hi Hon,

I'm sorry this has happened to you. I take 900 mg a day, 300 morning, and 600 nite. It made me very sleepy at first, but after a few days it was easier. I have found that my 300 in the am makes me sleepy. Always take a late morning nap. the 600 at nite doesn't seem to make me sleepy at all. Maybe you could take 600 at nite and see if it works. Hang in there, and take it easy. We are here for you.

very gentle hugs and pats.
mary

That's a fast amount of Neurontin! I have handled it well and have been able to increase it faster than others, but for someone who hasn't handled it well... hmm! I wonder *why* the doctor is doing it that way?! Wow... I would slow it down myself.

Feel better, Sweetie! Poor girlie! You are in my thoughts and prayers!

HI DESI.
i use 400 three times a day and once did try to bump it up to four times a day but i just got loopy and did not have further pain control. that sounds like a big increase all at once. take only what you feel makes you feel better and no more.
take care joan

Hi Desi,
That is really quite some increase in Neurontin. I imagine that some people may tolerate a sudden tripling of the dose but I would suspect you may have felt a lot better if it had been titrated with a little more patience
If you slept for such a long tiime in one position in bed there is a possibility the extra swelling could be dependent oedema (just as legs will swell if left dangling down for too long)
Please don't panic about spread, it maybe something else completely.
Fingers are crossed for you
Please take care
Tayla
