Sorry I haven't been around, everyone. I want to wish everyone who had a birthday a belated one. I hope the day gave you everything you deserve.

I had myself a breakdown, I hate to admit. But, I am feeling so much better now, no need to worry. I had a major fight with Michael, had a good talk with God, apologized to Michael for neglecting him and his feelings for so long (while I was deep in my funk) and feel like living again.

I am also going to make my own webpage/forum, lol... No, not posting the addy, I haven't asked permission. But it's going to be a cat site, just cuz I want it to be. I need some FUN in my life.

If anyone does graphics and is bored, I have some great ideas but little skill in that arena, I'm afraid. I could pay a small amount, but you'd also get your name in lights! Also would love to see any ideas you come up with yourself... I'm no idiot, I know you'd probably be better than me!

how cool about the cat site. i have a web site. can't say i'd be much help with the graffics stuff. most of my graffics i do are for print ads. it's all fitness related.

what are you needing? you can pm if you want. i have tons and tons of graffics and and art programs.

Hey - welcome back to you too! I can help you a bit, I have some great graphic sites that offer free graphics and are virus free. I also have a bit of html and java knowledge, not great but okay, I have built a few websites. My knowledge is also FREE of charge! Send me a private note if you need help.

We are lucky that after break-downs we can come here and unlike Humpty Dumpty get some pieces back together. LOL.

Thanks everyone I appreciate the kind words and the suggestions about my site.

Luckily, I have Michael. He's in charge of all the coding, lol. He has just started his own web design business. He does html, xhtml, css, php, java, and several others I know nothing about. (he has only one paying customer so far, but he does lots of sites for non-profit orgs for free)

My big problem is the artwork. I can't draw a stick figure, the lines are never straight! I have the picture of the banner/logo I want just sitting in my head, but that's where it'll stay till I find an artist to work with, lol. I can neither draw letters that look like they're made of wood, nor find a font that looks like that. My other idea involves a decrepit brick wall behind a regular font, and I can't draw that, either. (The site is called alleycatcentral, if that helps explain why I want the banner to look like that)

But it's no big deal. I am in no huge hurry, this site is for fun and to keep me busy. I haven't written half the articles I want to before I start putting the site up!

Again, thanks for the ideas and suggestions, feel free to keep them coming!

so just tell me what kind of art you want and i'll do it (free is as cheap as you can get ;-)). i still have the use of my hands! i'm looking for ways to help other people so my own problems don't seem so bad. i think i am in remission and want to stay that way...

Hi Daylilly. No, my site isn't connected to the one you mentioned. Alleycatcentral is just a name I chose. It wasn't even among my top choices, lol. But it WAS available as .com, which is preferable over a .org or a .net. It'll do nicely, though.
