Hi all,
In regards to the use of botox in dystonia, I do wonder if when used, it is may work better if accompanied with casting or splinting.
Did any of those who have had Botox have splinting too?
Would love to have two feet facing the same direction:rolleyes:

I have had botox with splinting everywhere I have had botox. I found it helped, especially with my neck. It was much more effective for me having the splints because although it reduced the spasm it helped re educate my body abit about where my joints were supposed to be! you get so used to being twisted that the other muscles continue to have spasm even if they are not causing the spasticity - so I would definetly go for splinting on top.

Love
