PsychCentral is his main site, and he formed BT2 a year ago as a temporary place for us all when BT had the big crash in the summer of 06. As many of us liked it here, we asked him to make it permanent and so NT has evolved

not sure if you have ever visited the rest of the community that makes up NeuroTalk, as I know many members never leave their "home" forums here, having them bookmarked so they come straight into these, and so may not realize all the other parts of the whole community

Yup, that's me!

The short story is, I'm a clinical psychologist by training (though not in practice). When I graduated in 1995, I started developing and building online mental health resources and communities and have never stopped!

About a month and a half into when BT went down for 3 months last year (and it honestly looked like it was never coming back), I started NT (or BT2 as we first called it) as a place for the BT folks to come and be at. We run our own online community at Psych Central, so it seemed like a natural and "Right Thing" to do.

That's the short version anyways... I do visit here and there, but can't keep up with the hundreds of new posts made everyday any more. I am not an expert in much of anything, but I do know a lot about mental health issues (not so much about neurological and related issues though). So I don't think a Q&A time with me would be of much benefit to most people here...

Well there you go! Ask a question here and you get the answer in person! I do like the site, and have gotten a lot of good answers, and thought provoking ideas. i also made an incredible friend in Sue K who was born with the same congenital hip problem as I was, whch led to hip replacements, which led to rsd, which led to here! So, we have become 'hip sisters' of sorts! So. it was nice to meet you and thank you for introducing yourself.
