Default Can Dystonia cause Balance Problems?

Hi there
I suffer from RSD in my left leg and right arm although my arm is getting better.
My PM doctor says that I also suffer from Dystonia. I have recently being experiencing severe balance/co-ordination problems my bad leg shoots out in front of me without me being able to control it. Its as though I am telling my leg to work but it is ignoring me. Me and my moms spoken to my Physiotherapist and my PM doctor about my balance problem and they say that I am making it up - why would I do that?
I was just wondering whether Dystonia can cause Balance/Co-ordination problems. Please reply back we really need help
Many thanks
ALISON
