Heart So Happy!!!!!!

Hi everyone,
I have been on the Lamictal for a couple of months now. My siatic nerve is damaged in 3 places from the hip replacement which also caused the RSD. I didn't want to jump the gun and get my hopes up, but for the last week in the area that hurts the most, my pain level has been a 1 compared to off the charts. Before I could not sit or stand for more than 5 min. I can't belive it! i just wish it would work on the foot. Oh well something is better than nothing. I hope everyone is well.

Default Hi Sue,

That is great. I am glad you are finally seeing some relief. We all find it in different ways don't we? I'm glad you found a med that would help with the pain.

You are such a great asset to this group. I am happy for you.

Thanks Ada,
After 8 yrs of this I just can't belive it. After all the painful blocks, getting sick from meds, I was just about ready to give up. I hope your doing well. I know that you have had alot of stress and I hope it gets better.

Congratulations! I am so glad that something is going your way.
You are in my thoughts and I hope that your leg starts to improve
Don't over do things with your hip, this could make it bad again. My arms recently improved and I started doing little excercises to start off with and then began to move my arm more often - I would suggest that you try and do this with your hip
Pain free hugs
In my thoughts
Alison

Default Hi Sue,

It's funny how this goes on for so long and then we find something that finally does help take the edge off for us. It sure isn't something that we get better from in a short time.

My stress is still bad. I do think some of it comes from the depression. My nurse deals with depression and we talked about it Sunday and she and I go through about the same thing with our thoughts and worries. We worry too much over anything.

We are getting my grandson back on track, I think. I got another vehicle, mine was about to give up on me. I got my furnace in finally. It just seems like I get past one thing then I am dealing with something else. Nothing seems simple to me. Bill always took care of everything for me. He will be gone a year on the 21st. Now everytime I run up no a problem, I stress badly.

Anyway, I hope that med continues to keep you going good. You need some relief and deserve it.

Ada

Desi,
Thanks as always. Its just do amazing. For the first time in 8 yrs Ican sit in a car without so much pain. I can sit on the floor and play with the grankids. I forgot so much of the things that I lost. I don't mean to go on andd on about this but I had lost hope and never thought this would happen. It has helped in do many ways. My mood is so much better. I wake up now and say this si going to be a good day for once.

Love Ya
Sue
