Default Was surgery near RSD area?

Hi - forgive if I'm asking what is obvious question, I have alterior motive

Was your surgery near affected RSD site? If so, what special precautions were taken? Is your RSD active or in remission?

I literally cannot get an orthopedic surgeon to make an appointment with me. Once they find out I have RSD, they cancel. I didn't disclose to a few, thinking I'd at least get an opinion, but it's in some history notes and on at least 3 occasions, I've been sent out of the office (in tears) with a "I recommend you see someone else" or "I hope you find someone who will help" but never a recommendation.

Most importantly, I'm glad to hear you're doing well!

Ooo Hi All

I wanted to say thank you to everyone again for all the well wishes, good vibes, & heartwarming sweet kind words from eveyone I cant begin to tell you how much it's ment to me as well as how much you have all helped to keep me going when things have looked so grim for me or I've been so down thinking of giving up I have come here & remember I am not alone in this fight & I cant ever say thank you enough for giving me the support & understanding but most importantly friendships that mean so much...THANK YOU!
I had a doc appointment this past friday that went sooooo badly, The doc who Ive seen about 2yrs now left & went some place else the doc who took his place sat there looking at me like I was a crack head, wanted to take me off my pain meds & put me on Lyrica! I asked if he knew about RSD he said O yea I've had "alot" of paients with this I asked if he had delt with Generalized RSD (full body head to toe) like myself he changed subject which told me NO I asked him if he were me what would he do? NO answer of course I said you know what doc I'm NOT trying to be difficult but after 10yrs of nothing but massive amounts of pain 24/7 to have something take just a slight edge off is keeping me from going nuts & I think I deserve that at this point I said I went from a single active healthy Mom who worked at least 1 full time job always on the go etc to my life changing over night & after dealing with this for 10yrs I think I am "dealing" the best I can considering so really think the going back to no pain meds isnt going to work for me He had already told me prior to this btw I should find a new doctor! so I felt I should put him in his place but had my grandma & mom there so out of respect of my grandma I said that to him but wanted to tell him to screw himself & his god complex he had his mind made up on me before he walked in so I am really hoping to get in where the doc I was seeing went to so he can keep treating me he has been the only doc I have found who listens to me as a person not the normal Im the doctor crap & that is really hard to find. this new doctor has lost alot of paients from what we were told to so we wont be goin back there..He gave me a couple names of pain mangment places & told me go there cuz they will give me what I want my mom & I said if we wanted a pill mill we wouldnt have come here..this guy was such a jerk I couldnt believe it I did however get my pain meds for the month so gives me a little time to get in someplace so thats what I delt with for this appointment so frustrating...K Im done venting lol hope you all are doing well & know I'm thinking of all of you & pray for earch of you thank you all again for all you are & for being here always
