Default No Soaring With Eagles

Saw the pain Mgt Doctor thurs, after my CT scan.

Good News: RSD symptoms have subsided I'm feeling pretty good, and I can make a fist! AOK sign too!!

no more swelling, good color too, no more reynauds looking blotchy swollen fingers! woo hoo I'm cured

Had a Good weekend, then it happened

my Tuesaday appointment with the Orthopaedic idiots

Moron A "I've been reading your chart" Me: Good, then you know I'm here for you to Go over my CT scan results Moron A oh CT scan Eh?

Me: ah yeah CT scan, I guess they want to look at my lunate and find out whether or not Bood flows through my old bones

moron A Let me go get the Hand Specialist

moron B comes in, rattles off some Doctor mumbo grips my wrist and and elbo simutaneously and shoves my bone backwards

guess He wants to guage my pain, (that was gone as of the previous thursday)

Fast foward to tonight hand is all swollen up and blotchy white spots on fingers again

this after 16 occupational therapy appointments, and a "great, I'm all better" trip to pain mgt last thursday

Guy never said a word about my CT scan and walked out, angry I hit the back button and got into my file on the open computer
I cannot believe this **** articular fracture of the volar distal radius

funny, no ones mentioned anything about the articular distal radius being fractured to me

Gee, no wonder I can't supinate, and have been in pain through all 16 occupational therapy sessions For crying out loud

Moron A everythings Fine, but were giving you 12 to 16 more occupational therapy sessions

still No mention of the CT scans results

God I'm furious, hand is all swollen and blotchy again, and the RSD pain and/or burning has returned, although far from what it was.

I feel like four months of slow cure just swirled around the bowl like a Big fresh turd

BTW the hand specialist never even bothered to look at the monitor, that was opened to the chart, and my CT scan results..................... completely clueless

How can I laugh Tommorow, when I wanna brain something today

RSD what RSD lets get some lunch

Heart

I am so sorry about this ((hugs)) your doctors don't sound very helpful. You could be left with Arthritis if you aren't treated for the fracture, please phone your doctor and ask about the CT scan again. Otherwise go to hospital and ask them to X-Ray it. Your doctors could get in serious trouble for this.
It sounds like your doctors made your hand worse again by pulling it, I am so sorry about all that you are going through
Take care and keep us posted.
Alison

Sorry to hear what jerks you have for docs..

Have you called your PM doc yet?? maybe he can do something now to get it back in to remission!! it can be done if you were there last week!!!

I would also go to anoter Ortho quicker then spit on a wall!! BC like alli said.. arthritis can set in and make RSD spread too!! There is no reason that they should leave a fx alone.. and therapy will only tick it offf...

Your PM doc might be able to get u a new ortho too!!

Good luck and dont let them win!!
