 tiril, it's ok. we just like to warn people. just incase.
i think you posted very important information. that link needs to be sent to dr's who don't understand rsd. |
I have had that hapen to some of my toenails. Have RSD in my feet. The left foot is the worst & that is where it has happened. I mostly leave it alone. Try to keep it short enough so as not to catch it & break it low. That would be too hurtful. It is also funny around the edges & sides. Like the skin is growing into the nail. Trying to keep that in check also. God I hate RSD worse all the time. I feel so damn helpless sometimes & too damn dependent on my husband & I don't want to be any more. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

My biggest probs from that is dry eyes & mouth. I take Evoxac for the dry mouth & nothing else for Sjogren's. Haven't found a good doctor for that prob yet & I was dx'ed with it before RSD. About 9 months beofre. I told the rheumy I saw then about how my feet felt & they said that had nothing to do with Sjogren's. DebbyV |
Yep
Hi
Early on in my RSD my toe nail came off.Ouch. But it doesn't happen anymore. Pam |
I dont know if this will help but when i was dx with rsd, i started taking vitamin c and my nails became long and a little stronger. then i stopped and now my nails dont grow fast and they break a lot and yeah. maybe you could try that?
