Baclofen is my life saver for muscle spasms, and it has been the only med that I have stayed on religiously for 13 years - and I am awful for dropping my meds. Unfortunately it is one of those medications that doesn't break the blood barrier well in oral form, and is so much more effective in a pump, in oral form it requires taking a much higher dose. finding an oral dose that works for you can be tough, but I know how well it works for me as I know how much worse those spasms (I call them electrical bolts) can get if I stop it. I hope you are able to find a dose that works for you. It won't help with the pain itself, but we all know how much those spasms can increase that pain.
Gentle huggs
