Default Wish me luck!

I mentioned briefly that I was having upper left quandrant pain since mid Sept, and had been taken to ER via ambulance. I've been tested up and down, right and left and so far, thank goodness, the doctors have decided all major organs are ok. Liver, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, gallbladder, etc. Oh and I was cleared by my gyno.

This left me in the hands of a gastroenterologist on Thursday and he immediately set me up for a endoscopy and colonoscopy for Monday morning to take a looksie.

I have had both these tests many years ago. Never been put to sleep for them. Because both tests will be done back to back, I am thankful that he has decided to completely put me to sleep.

It's been a long wait and a lot of discomfort, a liquid diet mostly since the 9/22 but hopefully by Monday PM, I should have some answers.

Oh. good idea, sleeping through the whole thing, pretty uncomfortable otherwise. Hope everything goes smoothly, sure it will, and I'm crossing my fingers for a good outcome, be thinking of you Monday.

(Can't help this, there's gotta be a joke in there, colonoscopy back to back .....)

All the very best, Dana, good luck with it all.

Greetings

Better you than me LOL

Seriously, I do hope they find the cause and it is easily treatable.
You need a break today....and Monday too.
A lot of us seem to have strange things going on.

Glad you'll finally get a diagnosis and be able to move on

Hope

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. I managed to get to the market and buy the correct items for me to eat starting tomorrow to prepare for the test...yuck. And will try my best to get on here as soon as possible to let you all know what the doctor says when I return home.

The National Weather Service put us in a Flash Flood Watch until Monday as a severe weather system approaches the islands. They expect heavy rains and thunder storm activity starting tonight through Monday. I will pray the system sweeps through my island quickly and we have decent weather by Monday AM, as my son is driving me in to the hospital. Driving w/ him is no picnic, let alone in bad weather.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Hi Dana,
I never had this test. But I think it's smart to rule out everything. Please keep us updated on how you are doing? Hugs and Prayers, Roz
