Heart Sleeping Beauty!

I'm so glad you were able to get some rest! A big thanx to all Bryon from ALL of us is in order.

I think it's great you're able to get so many SGB blocks as well and they are beneficial to you! Soon you will have even more relief I hope...

I can only hope, one day I start getting them. Hopefully I wont need up to 3 a week like you've had. (Poor woman!)

Allison, I certainly agree with Heather regarding your maturity. I've said it before, you are so well beyond your age. You're so strong and brave to be handling such a big burden and still be able to come here and give advice to others. You're an angel!

Heart Not at all!

No, when I went for the nerve block the doctor said she wanted to rule out other things like Lyme and R.A. She said CRPS in more than one extremity was rare and she wanted to rule out other possibilities.

She told me to go to the Rhuematologist and strongly felt it was CRPS that spread throughout my body and she was wrong!!!!!!!!

Now I have to wait for reports and tests and everything else!

I have great insurance...they've covered lots, it's just this effing doctor that's slowing things down. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Heart Been There....

I have had 3 Dr's tell me that it's "ALL IN MY HEAD"! after I had been diagnosed 5 months prior. We moved to Vegas and I had to find a new Pain Dr. It was so awful. Then my Pain Dr. for the last 1.5 years out here (the reason we are moving home and who put the SCS in me when the RSD spread everywhere) is so ignorant teling me now that it's impossible that the SCS Trial made it spread. Yeah, Just cause he did it!

Well, I will pray that you don't have to go through anymore chaos there...A block will do you good...I KNOW IT!

Love,
H

Heart In Your Head???

How insensitive could they be? All in your head....

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

If a Doctor EVER says that to me, I'm probably going to turn into a Rabid Greyhound!!!!!!!

That just disgusts me...really!
My Aunt had a weird Esophagus's problem and it took her 3 years to get help! They told her the same thing, and she ended up getting cancer later. Luckily she was fine, however...that was pretty close. '

Please don't misunderstand me...I have high respects for Doctors, however, there are more and more that I find to be completely undereducated and lacking people skills!!! It is very frustrating for people who have a difficult time getting diagnosed when they deal with these doctors constantly I can see how one would lose faith.

Some seem to lack sympathy and have no real interest in details, they just put you on a conveyor belt and off you go to another doctor. I've found more and more doctors come in and act like they've never seen me before when they had seen me just a few weeks earlier!!!!!!!!!

I mean really, I know people get busy but at least look at their chart outside the room so the patient actually thinks the doctor has thought long and hard about your problem!!!! Whateverrrrrrrrrrr

I'm sorry you had to meet with so many insensitive doctors...you definitely deserved better.

Default Thanks so much...

It sucked and I probably will still not agree 100% with my dr in Cali when I get there. If not, I am headed to UCLA to see an RSD specialist to end this chaos!
