Default Weather changed, what a pain?

Our weather has actually warmed up but the wind blew yesterday. On days like this I am worse off.

I was hurting in bed so bad last night, I couldn't move. Even my butt hurt. LOL. I never had felt pain there before. My thighs and legs hurt, my feet.

I just don't get why weather change can make such a difference, even when it's changing for the better.

Hi Ada,
I know what you mean, the weather here changed yesterday for the better....got up to about 70 mid-day but at night it went back down to about 38 or so and today it looks as if it is going to be doing the same thing. This morning when I woke up my entire body didn't or wouldn't move. I hadn't experienced that is some time and had forgotten just how frustrating it is. Then once I was able to sit up I really wasn't sure I wanted to put my feet on the floor....but that bathroom was really calling my name...lol.....I believe that was one of the longest walks I had ever had. But I was able to lessen it when I did my relaxation routine, but my muscles are really sore and they usually aren't. I'm not sure what's going on, but I do know it's different.
I feel as if I have done aerobics for 4 hours followed by 8 hours of jogging!! I don't think I will be doing very much today, might go sit out in the sun and suck up some Vitamin D, could be lacking that??

Wishing you all the best in your butt....hahahahahaha.

Love, Peace & Blessings,
Marla

Heart

Hi Ada,
Here in MA it seems like the rain has not stopped and now we are getting snow. My body hurts so bad. Even the meds don't work. Places that don't hurt are worse than the RSD limb. I just wish the sun would come out! Hope you feel better.

Default Hi Marla,

i hate those trips to the bathroom too. I have way too many due to the IC and other problems.

I try to figure out what is happening at times if it's the RSD or Fibro messing with my body.

I have trouble straightening out my legs at night due to not being able to get them warm enough so I think that makes a lot of my lower half pain worse.

I have as much pain with the heat as I do the cold. It's in the 70's here today too. I have had to take more meds today then when it is cold.

Now we know what they mean by the saying " pain in the butt". don't we. It's not only our Grandkids and kids that can be. LOL

Hi Ada,
You are so right about the "pain in the butt" not always the kids and grandkids causing it.....LOL!!

Yesterday I went out and soaked up some sun rays and I felt so much better last night. I am thinking
I am going to try it again today and and see how I feel tonight.....may be cause to get a membership
at that spa or invest in my own sauna after all....hahahahaha, wonder if I could sell that to my husband, it's worth a try.....lol

Love, Peace & Blessings,
Marla

Default Hi Marla,

I think a spa would be a great ideal for you. Convince your hubby by going somewhere where you can both go a couple of times then maybe he will buy you one.

I am dreading the summer sun at this point. The heat bothers me as much as the cold. Today I am on extra meds and using patches.

I do love summer but not at this point.

Ada, sorry you are having such a rough time of it, I hope things improve for you soon. Not too long ago I also had pain in my butt, both hips, both knees, both shoulders. both wrists and hands. Darn arthritis and that stupid sciatic nerve. With a body like this I should qualify for social security as my body felt like it way 120 yrs old.LOL I dealt with it for 6-7 weeks and then it just mostly let up. That was better than winning the lottery. LOL Take Care of yourself I know it is hard. Marilyn

Default Hi Marla,

My visit went great as usual. He's been my Dr. for almost 18 years and he's been my friend for about 10. He gave me my injections in my chest. That's the first time I have needed them in a couple of years. I've been doing too much at the computer so I believe I got my Thoracic Outlet going again. He'll keep giving me shots until we get it calmed down. The pain was in my left shoulder, my neck, and down my left chest area all the way to my breast. He gave me 4 injections. No cortizone though. Then he gave me some in my left thigh area.

We talked after that because he councels me too. I am still having a hard time over Bill and too dealing with two teenage boys. They both have girlfriends now, which is ok. Travis has taught them all he can about what's right and wrong in a relationship but my oldest was having problems with some of his friends and what they do so he's had to quit hanging around so many of them anymore. I think though now he is getting back to his normal self. Also he is 14. My Dr. said he was going through his puberty and had to figure out what was going on there. Like everyone else said on here money has been an issue since losing Bill but hopefully that will improve soon.

As far as what's going on and what makes me think it's something else is because other people I have noticed don't have the problems with the warm weather that I have had. Mine has been going on for about 4 years now. You mentioned MS, I never thought about that. I was diagnosed with MS about 2 years ago. I don't know if that would be a symptom of that or not. With me too, if it's out there I'm going to get it. That's one reason I quit going to Drs. I'd go for one thing and then they'd tell me I had another. I go to the ones that help me with the worst of it and my PCP helps me with all of it so that's enough for me. We deal with whatever is acting up at the time.

I did forget to ask him about that new myalgia he diagnosed me with but I will do that when I see him again.

I hope this don't continue with you, if it does you won't have a good summer. As I told you, I can't stand the heat and if I go out for any length of time, I am popping my Methadone and coming back in.

I have never took the Actonel. I don't know if it could be doing that to you. There are some meds though that you can't get into the sun with.

Country Mom, It is like winning the lottery when one of our pains give up. lol. As far as SS, yes you should be on it. I hope you have put in for it. I fought mine for years and then our State Rep got it for me in a week. You should try for it.

As far as the weather, the snow missed us. I don't know if that's good or bad for me. It's been in the 60's here and that isn't good for me.

I inquired about SS but was told I didn't have my credits in the right time period as I qiut working when I had my son 15 yrs ago except waitressing for a short time when we built our home. When we had the farm I did not treat myself as an employee and therefore did not pay into SS. So I have the 20 credits but in the wrong timeframe therefore I do not qualify. Bummer, huh? I guess someone else gets to use that money I paid into SS, oh well. Sorry about the loss of your husband, I am sure it is tough on you and your sons. I hope your money issues improve soon. Your plate is so full. Hang in there Marilyn
