Default Hi Everyone

Just stopped by for a second to say hello. Things are going well and I wanted to check in with all of you. I think of you often and you all are in my prayers. My recovery from my stroke has been phenomenol and aside from dealing with the yuckies of Lyrica things are pretty good for the most part.

Winter is tough for us RSDers to say the least but were tougher for sure. Out of curiosity, does anyone on disability (full) receiving SSDI like me have some sort of advocate or know where to turn when they have questions or concerns? I have been on SSDI for almost a year (will be this June) and I don't know who to talk to. My local branch office is useless.

Thanks everyone for all of your help. Chin up! Mark

Default Hi Mark,

So good to see you on here and that you are doing so good.

I agree with Heather. The local offices seem to be useless when it comes to SS. When Bill passed, I finally had to call the toll free no. in Denver to get my income straight.

The woman here was rude, she had nothing right about our life and told me wrong on a several things.

Good luck and again, it's nice to see an oldie around here. I don't mean that age wise either. LOL

mark,

good to see u here, and to hear that u r doing well.

if all else fails, call your congress-critter (not saying congressman in case it's a woman) and tell them u r not getting help with your SS......they have aides who spend their days sorting out difficulties with the federal gov't and can really kick butt when it's needed.

hope all continues to go well.
