I have not had a consultation, but he and Dr. schwartzman at Drexel University are the 2 best RSD doctors. Dr kirkpatrick's website is . He is a dortor you see not for a diagnosis, but he is doing experimental uses of ketamine. For people in stage1, some people go into remission. The stages are 1 ( 1-3 months), stage 2 ( 4-6) months, and stage 3 ( 7 and beyond). His research has shown that lose dose ketamine infusion in stages 2 and 3 it can reduce the amount of pain by 30% ,it can vary more or less by person. I do know that for people in intolerable pain, he can set up a 5 day ketamine coma in mexico and germany. It is not legal by the FDA. He has gotten some positive responces, but nothing that has lasted over 6 months. It is also 100,000 dolllars. I hope this helps. kevin
