Default Lets drink

I don't drink. But it sure is about time I did! And I need Condor to set me up with a subscription to his magazine I'm gonna take off all my clothes and run through the streets singing "I wanna be freeze".

Paula Abdul needs to be ***** slapped for not taking advantage of her access to the media to help us. She owes us this much and I stand on my ground about it.

I love you all. Jose, Dana, Condor Dana, Debbi3674 and everyone else and I stand my ground on this as well.

I'm angry, sad, frustrated, and motivated all at the same time. I have so much more to be thankful of. You guys for one (especially you guys). My family, friends here in New England, My health as it is today, my pets, and so forth.

I have a brand new car sitting in my driveway loaded that I can't drive anymore, Anyone interested?

Losing your independence and relying others for everything really sucks but that is a thread for another day. Take care everyone please?????

Chin Up?????? Lets kick some RSD Buttock!!!!

Mark

Default I have a drinking story

It was funny. I went in for my EGD and colonoscopy test last Monday and the anesthesologist was asking questions...do you smoke, etc., yes, I replied, and when she got to the "do you drink" question, I had to think...I used to drink quite a bit, but since RSD, and actually more recently, I paused and said to her "quite honestly...no I don't". She said...none. I said, well in the span of a month, I might have a 1/2 or 1 glass of Pinot Grigio. But, I used to drink alot!" "I have absolutely no desire to really drink anymore. You can put socially, when I have a friend in town, but no I don't drink". I'm very proud of this.

But, I'm interested in this car of yours, as I do drive! I don't do this very often anymore...but I do drive! laffs. So what kind of brand new baby do you have sitting in your driveway looking pretty that you don't drive anymore?
I have a Suburu Forester...which I love. I put maybe 4k miles a year, on mine!

And, of course, there's the puppies. I have two adorable American Eskimo Dogs. There is Scottie-Boy who is 6 and Sasha my little princess who is 4. They are the light of my eye.

Ok on to the real Subject. Ms. Abdul. laffs. Ms. Priss...should I say. This woman, really gets my goat. I love American Idol. And her conduct some days on that show is just so inappropriate, I'm not sure if I'd want her as our Spokesperson. She's so, er well...either she's just plain funky or she's hitting the bottle or her pain pills just way too much. Plus remember she's cured! Why does she need to speak about RSD.

So....dancing in the streets naked, huh? You're too much, brother!

Have a great evening. Keep on trucking.

Dana

OK I am going to say as much as I can without getting into any trouble.
LA IS a small town.
There are a limited amount of doctors one can see etc etc so those with RSD tend to share some docs or therapists etc .
And the grapevine is like highschool in certain circles- like anywhere.

We just had our fashion week here in LA ( my passion in my new reinvented self!) and I was invited to this event which I did attend www.dressedtokilt.com.

This mesage will self destruct in several days

If you would like a more detailed response you can PM me

Much peace

GnP

AS PROMISED MOST OF THIS MESSAGE IS GONE .If you would like any details please PM me.
Thanks GnP

PS.I am working on some musicians for some sorts of benefits but it is a hard thing to combine friendship and fundraising.
There are so many people out here, so many great causes and only x amount of dollars to go 'round .

PPS. Mark I read about your new troubles and my heart is with you ...chin too
I have done alot of reading and it seems there are quite a few out there who get RSD and MS .
I don't know if this gives you any solace at this times but it is interesting.
The more we seem to know about this thing the less we know too .
Score another non drinker here and I used to so love a nice glass of wine or two or three.
Good Luck..Breathe Deep!!!!!!!!

What makes me wonder about P.A. is when I saw her on Larry King. She did not even get the words Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy correct. I don't remember what she said, but one of the words was WAY wrong.

I don't know about any of you, but ever since my diagnosis, and a few days of research, I don't think I have had any problems remembering exactly what it is that I have.

I know there is debate over if P.A. has RSD or not. For me that was the deciding factor.. she couldn't even say the name right. And, then didn't she say she was treated with the wrong drug that "cured" her? Her spokes people came out to say it was for arthritis or something afterwords?

I don't know, it all seems odd.

RSD needs someone like Michael J. Fox. A couple days ago, I saw the re-run of him on Actors Studio ( I think that is the name of the show) and the way he talks about having and dealing with Parkinson's is inspiring.

Hey Mark - good to hear you're getting your head round this monster, it'll take a while I reckon. Dana's right, dropping in to the MS forum's a good plan whenever you feel you can handle it; like here, I'm sure that advice from people who really know what it's like, what to expect and how to deal with all the issues is absolutely invaluable.

Interesting, I only really drink socially, and I'm not very sociable - and I used to. Only really been like this since RSD. I've discovered that while I'm actually drinking, the RSD is very much better. But for 2 days after, it's very much worse. Plus, I just don't feel like it any more.

But hey, I'll certainly have a virtual glass or five So...I think running naked beats you in a grass skirt and coconut bra...does it??

So pleased to hear you a bit more chipper, take it easy,
all the best.

PS GnP - what a socialite you are! Insider gossip hot from LA - I love it!!
