Default I think it is spreading

I am so upset, and just down! I have been having a flair up, and like normal my left leg has been compensating for that. Well It has started to get the burn, and not want to work. I'm so upset! I don't know what to do. I am sodepressed over it. I don't want to tell my husband because he will be very upset as well, and I will hear the "maybe it is just getting worse befor it goes away" I know he has to deal with it in his own way, but that does not help me at all. Anyways I just needed to vent about it. Thanks for reading!

I don't know if there's anything you can do to stop it but it only seems to spread during flares. Some people recommend grape seed extract but I don't know if it really works or not. For me it seems to mostly cause me grief and inability at the original site. Obviously yours is more problematical.

I know what you mean about trying to not let people know about worsening symptoms.

Good luck. Stay as calm as you can.

Thank you so much! I have not heard the grape seed thing. I might have to try that, I'll have to see if I can.

Heart

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through this right now - I really hope that the RSD isn't spreading.

I would deffinately recommend that you go and see a PM dr (if you have one) to see if he/she suspects that the RSD is spreading. You could also try and do some gentle excersises on your arm, to see if they help - thats what I did when my RSD started to spread.

I have never tried the Grape Seed Extract, but I have heard of some people who say that it can help with the swelling etc. You can take GSE with medications as it is an herbal tablet, so it shouldn't cause you any problems - but I would speak to your dr before you try it, if you decide to, just to be on the safe side!!

Please keep us all updated when you can
Love and best wishes
Alison
