Cool Scared!!!

I`m a seventeen year old girl, who was diagnosed with RND about three months ago. I have it severly in my stomach, nasea and not as severly in my wrist knees and ankles. I will be going into Dr.Sherrys program soon, I will be admitted for three to eight weeks for intense physical therapy. If anybody knows anything about this, or even something encouraging please reply!

I have heard some really good things about Dr Sherrys program. I met a girl at the RSD walk who ran 2 miles and she had full body RSD! You can go to "search this forum" and type in Dr Sherry and you should come up with some stuff...

Hope that helps

Debbie

Hi. I am sorry you are struggling. I have read other posts about this program so maybe if you do a search and then email those people it can help you feel more ready. I did a maybe similar program at Cleveland Clinic well sort of. It was 8 hours a day 5 days a week with pt,group therapy etc. I lasted only 4 days and then was sent to get a catheter which I didn't do. I am thinking if I get the scs to do it again though and try to make it through the 3-6 weeks. It did help me the few days I was there in many ways. After that I leanred how to push myself through my pain which is not for everyone but in my case a must. Many coping mechanisms with the fear, anxiety, depression. Hang in there and keep us updated. Is this Sherry program only for young people meaning under18

Hey,

I'm sorry to hear that you also suffer from RND - I have RND/RSD in my left leg and right arm, I developed it when I was 12 years old (i'm now 13)

I've never been on Dr Sherry's program, however I am starting a similar program on Monday - I really hope that the program helps you as i've spoken to several people who have got better on Dr Sherry's program.

On Youtube theres a video of a girl named Alessa who went on Dr Sherry's program and her RND went into remission.

Sorry that I can't help you that much but I really wish you the very best of luck and I hope that u will keep us all updated

Take care
Alison
