Default New member - Hi!

Hi all,
I am new to all of this. Just stumbled across this site today. I am cornishpasty and I have had RSD in my right ankle since 2000 after a fall on stairs at work. I had a rear end shunt and have had problems with my back since then. Has anyone else heard of RSD/CRPS starting in their spine after such an accident? I need help fighting my case.
Thanks.

I have not had it in my spine but I have it in my dominent hand and arm. I got injured on the job and lost my job. Did you turn it into your immediate supervisor so they have record of the incident? If so has there been any doc that has diagnosed you with rsd/crps due to the injury you sustained on the job? Do you still have your job? I went through a lot with my fight thought it was over when we settled out of court after 4 years and now having to take them back again. I know what dealing with work comp is all about. If you could answer these questions maybe I can help you out. Good luck.

Sincerely,
screwballpookie

Hi and welcome.

I wish I could be of help to you, but I don't have it in my spine. I have it in the lower half of my body. I have had an scs since Thanksgiving and it seems to be helping quite a bit. I know there will be others here that will have more information for you, but in the mean time, welcome:

Mary

Hi Cornish,
Hi and welcome to our group here. I do hope that you will stay with us here. I too have not had RSD?CRPS in my spine either. Mine started in my wrist(Right) after carpal tunnal surgery and has since spreaded here and there. I'm sure someone else may come and help you out with your question. Anyway, welcome aboard, again!~Love, Desi

Hi everyone,
Thanks to all who replied and welcomed me. I am a complete novice at trying to reply or send messages, please bear with me!
My RSD case with my foot was withdrawn from court as my solicitor had not done his job properly. Que Sera! I also lost my job as I could not work and had only been there for 7 weeks.
This case is about my back after a car accident rear shunt and the remaining pain after 20 months. Physio was agony as my spine is so sensitive and I still have to be so careful lifting, etc. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks and love to all.
