Default Well...

I finally met the nurse my job hired to go with me to my doctors appointment. When she was going thru everything she asked what is wrong with my foot. I told her I believe the RSD has spread to my ankle. She told me that its not RSD then because it doesn't spread to the legs. I told her yes it does, I have done my research and once this ugly monster has a hold of you it will spread where ever it pleases. She talked to the last doctor I saw, and they both decided instead of a neurologist I should see a hand specialist, only because the experience she has had with other patients and neurologists. She is surprised that I'm still working, I told her with it being in my foot now I'm scared to death when I have to drive to work since its a 45 min drive one way, she understands that. She also has dealt with other patients who have RSD, so I'm surprised she doesn't know that it spreads to where ever whenever. Oh she also told me that since I'm allergic to anti inflammitories, I should take asprin for now since I have no pain killers. Is that right? I haven't tried asprin but have taken tylenol and excedrin and neither comes close to knocking out pain even if for a short period of time. Oh I also heard from the lawyer I've been consulting and he sent me my medical records from the bone specialist that I had seen. The bone specialist said to me and my hubby that I have RSD, but then wrote in his reports that I only have components of RSD, he never actually wrote down in those reports that I have RSD. That really made me mad when I saw those.

Anyway... Thank you.

Tiff
