Heart Hey.. Friends!!

Just dropping by to say hello and let you all know that I am doing pretty good. The RSD is still on and off acting, rearing it's beastly head. (Especially when I took my daughter who is 8 school shopping) I had no idea that she was supposed to be in school today(Aug. 25th.) I mean here I am getting a quick hair cut and my beautician told me, are ya ready for school to start on Monday?? I'm like hu? School starts after labor day!! She says no, I believe her school starts August 25th. I could not believe this, as I have not done any school shopping at all, none!! Ok, So we go to K-Mart to buy her friend who was having a Birthday party on August 23rd. and while in K-Mart, my daughter said, Mommy.. there is my friend Madison. Ok, so I go up to Madison's father and ask him if school started on Monday. He said, ya can you believe it? I'm like ummmmm.. no. So, I said goodbye to Madison and her daddy, told my daughter lets go get some things now. We were at several stores for almost 8 hrs. She had to try on this and that. hated this, loved the expensive thing's. That Hannah Montanna chick is getting richer and richer by her,and so many other little girls wanting all of her clothes, shoes, back packs. Ok, when we got home I was so tired, hurting. I was back into RSD mode! I bought her everything in one day, down to underwear and socks. My hand(I have a glove on, since it's so cold) My arm hurts, my legs, and feet feel like they are on fire!! I come home and my husband is sick as a dog(He is now on oxygen) most of the time. I feel like a ballon about to explode!! Man, kid's clothes these days are NOT cheap! I have my hands now full with my husband, not doing well at all, school, Dr. appointments(For us both) I'll tell ya, it's crazy, CRAZY!! Well, anyway.. thanks for the vent!! I love you all and now.. It's lights out, 'cause I have to be up at 6:30 A.M. to get my daughter up, dressed, fed and drive her to school.~Love, Desi

Default Forgetting incredible important dates is part of it all

Desi, dont be too hard on yourself although many off this site would never understand, forgetting things, even important dates, like the start of school is very common. I have severe memory and organizational problems for eithre the rsd, the coma, the ketamine, who knows but its real. so dont be too hard on yourself. Instead id be impressed you made it through 8 hours of shopping- something I havent been able to do since my accident even wth wheelchairs. Good to hear from you. Love CZ

Desi,

I'm so sorry you are not doing well. I know it's even harder with Bill being so sick. First day of school...I'm with you, where did the summer go? I guess we just get by day by day, and we lose track of the complete picture. I'll email you in a bit. Just wanted to say how sorry I am for what you are going thru.

Hugs
Mary

Hi CZ Thank you for saying what ya said! Your right!! I am too hard on myself! Anymore, all I have been doing is , well.. everything! I don't ever want to feel bitter towards my husband, he can't help it. It's just, I was so used to him being the stronger one in our marriage, and it hit me, I now have to be the stronger one! Poor man, can't even take out the trash to our curb anymore. I believe the next test, is a scope to look down and see what's going on in his stomach. I am so glad, his lung scan came back really good. He constantly coughs, has dry heaves, can't breath and is now on oxygen. Anymore, I can't sleep, I am constantly on the go, and tonight, I feel my entire body just hurting. I noticed I have this RSD pain even more since my husband was in the hospital for a month and it's still here. I see my PCD tomorrow afternoon, and he is the one who admitted Bill. I am telling him everything, asking him questions and wanting answers! Anyway, sorry for going on and on CZ. Thanks again!~Love, Desi

Default Hi Desi, so sorry I missed your post

Hi Desi, so sorry I missed your post! I have been down a while.
Desi, I cant imagine having rsd and then loosing the strong one in your life, which in my case is my husband too. I really can not imagine. I would be lost, in fact i could nt be doing what your doing. Yes im sure your rsd is worse the stress of running the house by your self, caring for your husband et al. With your RSD I dont even know how your are doing it. When my husband travels which is a lot, i do not do well. But it does allow me more rest- if he wasnt helping me when he is home, I jsut wouldnt make it. I hope youll have time each day to take an espom salt bath- they do help so much.
Im glad you took a minute to write Id missed seeing your posts and catching up. I hope you get good news about Bill this week. Your in my thoughts and prayers. Let us know w hat happens.Thinking of you your amazing to be handling all of thisl.Sincerely, CZ
