Default Welding!

So I'm doing something that I have wanted to do for the longest time . . . learning how to weld! I have about a year and a half wait list until I get into my nursing program, so I actually have time to take classes that I want to take. For my entire academic career I have been filled with tons of biology classes and chem and physics, which I love, but it left very little time for anything else. Next semester I'm taking my certified nursing assistant program, but this semester I'm a welder! I'm also taking a really cool anthropology class called "Magic, Religion and Witchcraft". And then an evil speech class which is my last requirement for nursing, along with the CNA certification.

But learning how to weld is making me so happy. It's REAL welding too- arc welding and gas welding. When I went to this shop to pick up my supplies they laughed at me a bit and said that I would be a "perky" welder. I told them "Damn straight!" Next I want to learn to blow glass.

My question to you guys is, what are you doing that makes you happy? That is just for you? We all need these things in our lives!

Lynn
