Default Rough bedding, can't stand it.

Have we talked about this? Can't remember.

About 2 months ago, I started noticing the roughness of my bedding. Even my pillowcases seem rough. I think I can feel every thread in them. My sheets the same way. I put a blanket under me and it felt the same way. I also tried a soft comforter under me, still the same. I spent 3 nights with a friend this weekend and her sheets felt the same to me. I can't stand sleeping on them. My sheets are cotton but I don't believe any of the others would feel any different.

Have any of you dealt with this? I don't have this problem with my clothes, it's just my bedding.

Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Yup, Go with a larger thread count to your bedding. The higher the thread count the softer it is. Or try Egyptian cotton bedding.

Hi Ada!!

I have the same problem. Think Satin! LOL

They already had the answer though....higher thread count.

I was so sad when my Egyptian cotton sheets finally got a hole in them!

Yes, the higher the thread count (Egyptian or not), the more comfy they are.

I personally do not like satiny sheets b/c they catch on any rough skin.

When I lay on my couch, I put a fleece blankey under me.

Sweet dreams!

Default Hi all,

Thanks for the replies.

Allen, I have tried the satin and it feels just as rough as the cotten ones to me. I am going through my sheets to see if I have higher count ones. I have been given so many for Christmas so I am thinking I should have some.

I would like to know what is causing this. I just started dealing with this a couple of months ago as I said. I will try the higher count sheets though.

Thanks to all of you for your help. I hadn't even thought of higher count threads. Goes to show that many heads are better then one.
