Thumbs Up Hbot

Denny,
Yes, I vote a big yes for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy!!!!! I did my first 40 dives in Canada at 1.5ata, then I did 40 dives in Texas at 2.4ata. One year later again, I did another 40 dives at 2.4ata. Now I have a home chamber, that I purchased and I dive regularly at 2.4ata. I have experienced many changes from HBOT and my life is better with each dive I take.
I have had RSD/CRPS since 1989...now full body. I have probaby had near 200+ dives, above water and 50 dives under water (all logged). HBOT is working for me.
I wish you all the best. Hang in there.

Thank you so much for answering my questions. I really appreciate it. I really want to talk to my doctor about this. I just dont know if my insurance will cover it. Its my understanding that most insurance wont cover it and I cant do it on my own. But I will ask my doctor about it & check with my insurance and cross my fingers.
Thanks again
Denny

Default Quick update

Just a quick update, I have completed 3 dives at 1.5 - I am getting cramping in my RSD foot and some in the same leg during the treatment- sure hope it goes away. Other then that no changes so far but it is too early to tell.....

Heart

Thanks for keeping us all up to date Debbie - I really appreciate it.
Sorry that you are getting some cramping ((pain-free hugs)), I hope it settles down real soon and I wish you the very best of luck with the rest of your HBO!!
Please keep us all updated when you can as I am also interested in trying the HBO again.
You are in my thoughts,
Alison
