Hi all.

I figured that I'd post before everything goes really crazy here. Starting tomorrow, we are having wood floors put in. We've been taking out the carpet and all for the last few days. Everyone for the wedding ( which is next Thur), will start arriving this weekend. Going to take then on a sailing cruise of 2 hrs. one day next week. then we have the wedding rehersal, then wedding, the a day off, then on next sat, we are going to spend the day at the Maryland Renissence Fair. Then everyone is gone, and I'm going to spend the next few days trying to recover. My butt has been hurting so bad I can hardly stand it. So far i still see the dr on Oct 13th. then it should be a week or two before the revision surgery. I really hope I can make it through the next week. This is so important for my daughter, and I don't want to spoil it by complaining. This week is about her, not about me. Wish me luck, if I get anytime with everything going, I'll post.

Mary,

You really have a lot of things planned! I hope you are somewhat like me -- the more activity I have (especially when I need to be part of the planning or am responsible for making it happen) the less I seem to hurt. It's like the distraction of being involved in something important keeps my mind off of the RSD, arthritis, and other things.

How many house guests are you going to have? Or, are they staying at area hotels? I hope it is not too much of a strain.

Sounds like a lot of fun, though. Let's hope they get your floor done in time. That could be interesting, having floor installers there with your guests.

Mike,

The floor is down and looks great. We only did two rooms. It tends to be expensive and with the wedding that's the best we could do. It is so beautiful. I'm going to have 4 people and another dog. I just hope I haven't bitten off more than I can chew. As I'm so weird about not being a party pooper, I really try hard not to bring everyone down. I know I can do it. It's only for a week.
