Debbie, I've PM'd Vic, he knows we're here, just doesn't feel like posting right now - he's trying to organise Home Aide. Allen had a long chat with him coupla months ago, said he sounded OK...(I think he posted about it ).

I'm not on that list but I know you thought I'd left forever. LOL
I just wanted to say hi to you and say I hope you are doing better then before I left. I remember how badly you were feeling. I am feeling better. I know that because I ran up on a friend of ours at a yard sale a month ago and he said he wouldn't have gave a dime for my life 5 years ago. He didn't think I'd live. I guess I'm to mean to die. LOL We ran up on another friend Sunday and he said that they were always seeing Bill out but not me but he was afraid to ask Bill if I'd died. It makes me see how far I really have come healthwise. Miracles do happen. I try not to look back on it nor can I read my diary. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to you and let you know that I'm still around. By the way I won't tell you what my name was I went by on here, I'll let you wonder who I am. I screwed up and put my whole name on here and I will most likely change it later but I can only do one hard thing a day. LOL Love, Ada |

Mark..
I am here, Sweetie. Things just got kinda sorta hectic around my house, that is all. High School Football season is winding up, and the last two weeks the Band put on a super cool show, that was pretty work intensive for the parents. Ahem...or I should say SOME of the parents. They changed their half time show for Halloween, and did it to Thriller, Frankenstein, and Zombie Nation. So...Yep! You guessed it! Instead of dressing up all nice and neat and Official Band looking in their nice new (and VERY expensive ![]() ![]() ![]() LOLOL...Ok. Pretty close to the Thriller video, I should say. Although I DO have to say, that JAY.. ![]() ![]() I have to admit...I had a lot of fun creating his hole costume. Meghan and I went to the thrift store, because Jay had to go with his AP English class to the library on the only night that we had available to get to the stupid store, to pick out his outfit. I picked out the most ATROCIOUS sports coat, pants and tie that I could. The jacket and tie were...well....pea green, and some how matched perfectly like they were meant to go together! I got a pukey colored shirt, and a selection of the UGLIEST ties that I could (which is fine...my Dad has this thing for UGLY ties. Don't ask me...he is weird. LOL). Meghan was actually trying to do things to make this get up look better! I laughed and laughed at her, when I explained why I needed a collared shirt (she was picking out other types, to try to get me to put back the UGLY jacket..I mean..it really looked bad in that store. LOL). I said "Meghan...he is supposed to have crawled out of his grave. You know...been buried in his coffin and busted out of it, dug up through the ground, and be dragging around looking to eat folks brains and what not." She looked at me and said "Yeah..Ok. But..WHO would get buried in THAT?!??" ![]() ![]() Anyways..I got my stuff home, and had jay try it all on...and you know what? It acutally didn't look too bad on him! I was shocked, and some what disappointed, I have to admit. The problem is his skin tone; the kid just wears ANY kind of green well, and looks DARN good in it. And..he is tall and has the broad shoulders of all the men in my family, so he looks VERY good in any kind of Jacket or uniform. *Sigh. SO..I had my work cut out for me. ROFL While he was at school, I commenced to "Zombifying" his getup. I attacked the pants (they were corduroy) and jacket with a large serrated kitchen knife, making the long, ragged and jagged cuts and slashes that would have gotten there from all of the crawling about that a Zombie would do. Then..I took the whole shebang (jacket, britches, shirt, & tie) out side, and entertained my neighbors for a bit. ![]() The make-up was easy, as I am pretty good at that. I always have been, and making the kids up (and making their costumes...because I would make up most all of their costumes...kinda like this Zombie one) for Halloween is something that I have really missed doing since they have gotten Big. So..I had a ball! And...the first week, I wound up not only doing Jay's make up, but also doing about 5 or 6 other kids make up too. That was because they saw how he and his best friend Seth turned out, and all of a sudden I had a line forming "Miss Josie! Will you do MY Make up, Please?? I don't want to look STOOPID!" So, I did. As many as I could before we had to load the buses...and then I even did a guy on the bus..once I convinced him that he wouldn't look stupid (he hadn't seen Jay and Seth or the other kids I had done....but you should have seen him when I got through with him. He was taking pics of himself and sending them I don't even know where. ROFL!). This past week, I only did Jay's, and did it here at home. That is because they had some folks from the local Untied Way "Fright Factory" come to help with the make up stuff, AND because it was "Senior Recognition Night" and so I had to get myself all gussied up and pretty. No blue jeans and Band Booster Chaperone Shirts for me this week. Nope...it was a nice sweater and skirt and hose. BRRRRR! I FROZE! But, it was worth it to be all proud and Escort my son out there on the field for him to be Recognized for all of his 4 years of contributions to the Band. Most of the Seniors opted to be Zombies, but some were in their Uniforms. Jay was a Zombie. I was VERY Proud of him. I was prouder still that he didn't worry about something petty like wearing a uniform. Especially since all of the rest of the band was zombiefied. The 11 (out of 30) that did, wound up not getting out to the stands and ready for the half time show until about 5 minutes before it. Jay was there the WHOLE time, doing his job as section leader....as he should be. I was PROUD. I AM PROUD. And..He told me that he has folks stop him in the hall way at school today just to tell him how GREAT he looked. Like I said..he looked like he would have fit right in the original Thriller Video! ROFL Anyway....That was the last scheduled home game. The next game is up in Northern AL...and I won't be going. If the team loses, that is the end of the season, since we are now in playoffs. So, it is a week to week thing, and we won't know where we go until after the game is over....or all of the games for that week are over. You know how these thing go....they ALWAYS make them as confusing as possible!. LOL. But, since I won't be going to next week's game...I won't have to recoup from it....so I will be around a lot more. I have been here...just lurking, and not saying a whole lot. I have been kinda tired....it is from over doing. But, this is Jay's Senior Year...so I am trying not to miss as much as I possibly can, you know what I mean?? Thanks for asking about me...although I bet you are kinda wishing that I hadn't coming babbling quite so full force out of the wood work! LOLOL..Oh well! I just thought the whole Thriller/Zombie thing is a Hoot! If I get any pictures of it..I will try to put them up! I hope you are doing better? You have to tell us the poop on the scoop about your murderous neighbor!!! I have been waiting for an update! I don't get Court Tv...Are the Media still being "Buttockses"? LOLOL (((Hugs))) Jose |

The Condor is still here. Just been very busy fixing a web designers mistakes. We have a website for our business, and after spending a couple thousand dollars updating it, we found alot of programming errors in the OSCommerce. So, we have had to rebuild the site and repair the errors. A two week job starting in the middle of August has turned into 2 1/2 months of pure BS. With my brain working at almost 50% of capacity, it takes awhile to finish a job. The web designers we hired were rated #1 in the Country, and they could not even validate a website. They know less than I do about programming. I have been programming or writing code since 1974. Someday soon, I will be finished with my little project. Glad you guys still remember the ole Condor and I hope all is well for you.
