Talking Block Is On!! YAY!! :)

Hello Everyone, The last post I left on here was regarding my block that I was suppose to have on Mon..Well, here is the latest...

Ive been feeling better pain wise and have been in better spirits the last couple of days!! Looks like Im going to end up having my block done next wk!! YAY!! Talking about a major weight lifted off my shoulders!!

My doc that has been treating me for my RSD since Aug that was going to do my block on Monday and my ins would cover the procedure...Well, he found another doc that he knows very well, takes my ins (and they will cover the procedure), will do my block!!! The ins company says I have to see him first though before they will approve the block to be done..So, I see this new guy on Tues afternoon, for a office visit, so he can meet me, go over my med chart, and do quick once over and examine me!! My block should be done on either Thurs or Fri they are saying!!

Also, my doc said that I will probably be turned over to this new doc for future checkups, treatments, ect...Because he takes my ins and I wont have to pay out of pocket anymore to be seen! That will be nice! My doc said he has alot of faith in him, that he is good, has been treating ppl with RSD for yrs and has done many blocks and other procedures! So, that is reassuring!!!

Good Karma..Right?!? lol

Always,
--Heidi

Heidi,
I've always had good luck with these "fate" or "karma" or "devine interventions" things- best of luck to you.

Thumbs up

Well done, Heidi, I really hope this leads to significant improvement. At least you'll feel you're doing something very positive, that's at the very least a morale-booster.

I'll keep my finger crossed for you, your doc sounds like one of the good guys - you're very lucky to have that,
Good luck and all the best!
