Heart wedding done, not getting out of bed for a week

Hi all,

The wedding went great, and all my house guest have left. Hubby goes back to work tomorrow, and I'm not getting out of bed except to take care of the animals. I made it thru smilling, and that was my goal. I didn't want it to be about me or have my daughter worry about me and things were fine.

Now I just have to wait for my dr. appt on Oct 13th. Hopefully, after that, it will only take another week or two to get me into surgery. I hope so. I can't take much more of it. Well, off to sleep. be back tomorrow
hugs
mary

Right on Mary!!!

I hope your daughter is one of the lucky ones that has a long happy marriage.

I went to a kids birthday party the other day and it wiped me out! Couldnt even imagine tackling a wedding !!

I sure hope you get some relief soon

Good for you Mary, I don't blame you!! You must be so exhausted and wiped out after the wedding!! I really hope you have a nice rest!

I am so glad that the Wedding went well and that you made it through smiling, I really admire you!!

I really hope that your appt on the 13 October goes well and that your Doctor will do the surgery pretty soon, you shouldn't have to cope with all of that additional pain

You're in my thoughts and if you need anything I am here for you

Take care, Alison

Hi ya sweetie! Mary, I just now read your P.M. and I will P.M. you back as soon as possible! Bill is home from the hospital, after staying there for a month. The one Dr. wanted him to stay another week, but he just had to come home. They will be sending his vac(Healing vacume for his foot(amputated toe) today. A nurse comes in every day. Ok, the rest, I will P.M. you. I so admire you too, like Alison said. You wore that smile so long on her wedding day, and only so your daughter didn't have to worry about you!! I am happy that it's over and you can just get under the covers and sleep! October the 13th. will be coming up fast, and I know you will be happy to be having the surgery, that you have so long waited for and deserve! You are an inspiration to all, sweetie! Love and prayers, Mary!~Love, Desi

Hi Mary, I'm so happy for you and your family for having a wonderful wedding. Your daughter will never forget it and YOU for your loving gift of making it her special day. Our daughter has been married 8 years now and I still remember the next day, feeling like I'd been hit by a truck. We had planned on getting away a couple day later with out of town friends to the grand canyon. I just had to ask for another day in bed. We then went on our journey to the North Rim and stayed in a two bedroom log cabin with a bath in between. Just after getting in bed(2 twin beds) a mouse ran across the floor, I ran in my girfriends room and made her husband sleep in my bed with my husband and the mouse. The cabin manager caught the mouse the next day while we were gone. (smile) I said how is it I'm in the woods with a mouse and my daughter is on her honeymoon in the cayman islands? What kinds of surgery are you having? I hope all goes well, I'll be think of you. Loretta
