Awe thanks.

I'm still in college, but I'm swamped with Psych tests and reports and such. I'm a Sophomore right now, which is insane; I feel like I just got out of high school yesterday.

I'm transferring and moving to Norfolk, Virginia with my fiancee (soon to be husband in December) ha That's crazy to think, but I'm looking forward to the new chapter in my life.

I hope everyone else is doing okay.

HI JEN!!

I remmeber you from BT1 boards.. how are you doing! are you still in college?? I thought of you when I wanted to go back (im not as young as you are.. or at least i dont reember , i think you are around 19ish, i wish i was that young..lol only 28) I decided to take one on campus class that i go to on monday nites (math.. which i havent had since 10th grade and its killing me, and i have to write a research paper in it... yes a research paper for MATH?? i have no clue why , but im doing it and it has no math in it and he said it doesnt have to or prob wont.. so im doing it on RSD.. haha.. something that i know about so it will be a good grade) and then i am taking 3 online classes, medical coding , medical law and ethics and heath care statisitics.. im acutally doing really good in all of them.. on my one test i got a 100 and an 88 on!! nothing is be low a 78... yet...lol. I will graduate with my second degree on dec 18th, so i will have my nursing degree (that igot in 1998) and now i will have a independent studies degree , with emphisis in medical field ( i will be able to do medical coding or medical office managemment!! ) im soo excited that i might be able to get out there and become part of the working again.. knock on wood or at least be able to do the coding from home...

I did the school thing , one to prove that RSD has nothing on me.. well ok it does but wont let it stop me and 2 to get my mind off the RSD and its working.. dont know whats gonna happen in january when im back to sitting on my bum with no homework to do...lol I will be on here alot more i will tell ya that!! plus im getting the puimp in jan!!

Just wanted to let you know that you were in my thoughts when i was signing up and thinking about college!! let me know how you are doing!!

Hi Amber!

It was nice to hear from you.

Ew an essay for math? That stinks. Math is bad enough, without papers! ha

That's great about you and school. Good luck with all of that; it's a lot work, but I'm sure you can do it. Keep me updated!

That's also great about the pump. I hope it helps you and you get some much needed relief!

Ahh! I'm looking into Old Dominion! That's where I applied. I'm hoping I get accepted, but I'm still nervous. And my fiancee is in the Navy and he's getting stationed in Norfolk. How weird?!

Ha, sorry. He only has sisters.

But, once again, it was nice to hear from you! I look forward to hearing from you again.

Hey Angel

I've done the same thing - the RSD isn't going to ruin all of my life! which is why I am now doing a full time undergraduate degree in Psychology! I am even living on campus and will do for the next 4 years...(with my carer.. LOL) It's one of the things that keeps me going and makes me realise I havent given up - it also helps me keep a routine going and stops me giving in to pain (you know the mornings where you have had no sleep, have been throwing up from pain all night and you feel so dead --> but you KNOW that you have to get up for a lecture, so get up and keep going... instead of lying in bed for a week and then feeling even worse when you have to get up!!

A paper in maths sucks big time!! lol... it's bad enough I've just had to write one on sociology - "why are the working class discriminated against" which actually has notihng at all about psychology in it.. GRRRR

lol - congrats on graduating in december - that will be a massive achievement!

love

rosie xxxx

Wow! what an inspiring thread.

You are all terrific. I take my hat off and bow to you all while so doing....or... hey guys, you are just *great*. All of you.

(You've just made me feel a real wuss, I've been complaining about a teensy headache - on top of the usual, you understand - I hang my head in shame )

all the best!

Jose,

Hi! Thanks. I'm glad you told me about this forum, I missed the whole 'community feeling.'

Well, my wedding isn't really going to be a wedding. We're just going to the Justice of the Peace and doing it really simple. We're both poor and we'd rather wait until we have money to do the big wedding.

School is somewhat better. I made a really good friend here, and we're roommates so that part of it is better. I still hate the place, so I'm SO happy to transfer and move out of PA.

Well I have class in a little (Yuck) so I'll end this here.
