Hi Summertime,

I haven't had the shingles with RSD thankfully yet but just wanted to say that I am sorry your friend is dealing with this also and that I hope he feels better soon.

Sorry that I can't help you that much ... hopefully someone will be along shortly to give you some advice.

Take care,
Alison

Hi Summertime, I don't know about RSD and shingles, but I thought I had shingles one time and my Dr. said it wasn't shingles. I've had various times that I've broke out in a red rash and or red dots. that hurt , itch. They are on various parts of my body. Not fun. He said it's important to always use sunscreen when out in the sun. Take care, Loretta
