Default having revision surgery tomorrow

Hi all,

Well, I'm going into the hospital for a complete scs revision tomorrow. I'm so happy and scared at the same time. I really don't want more pain, but I also really think that this new unit approved by the fda is going to be great. I should be out of the hospital either Thursay afternoon or sometime Fri. I can't wait to get this old unit out. It stick out of my butt and I can't sit, stand, sleep, nothing. the new battery, the size of a silver dollar, will go in my side, hopefully above my waist line. And new and improved paddle leads. Yeah. I'll let everyone know if this new, improved ANS unit is as great as it seems.

Hugs
Mary

Mary,

I am so happy for you, and know what it feels like to be excited and concerned at the same time. Unfortunately, many of us know that feeling all too well.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers will be with you. Take care and get better soon. We'll be waiting to hear a good report from you soon.

Best regards,

EJ

Mary, Sorry I didnt see this sooner. But I hope your surgery went well. I hope it brings you years of pain relief. I have to go have my SCS fixed in the next couple weeks. I pulled the leads out of my generator & have caused a fluid leak. Essentially I have an electrical short going on. I can still use it but it can be uncomfortable. SO be careful. Dont do anything dumb like I did! LOL! Sorry I have to laugh or I will cry. Take car Mary. I am thinking of you.
big hugs, Denny
