Default Rough Sheets!

I just can't seem to win! I recently bought a queen size bed and since I had a larger bed I went out and bought some sheets. I decided on some Perthshire Platinum Collection 1000 Thread Count 100% Egyptian Cotton sheets! So soft!

They were amazing for the first month and a half. In the last two weeks however I have noticed that they are very rough right under where I sleep. I took a closer look and discovered hundreds of tiny balls of thread on the surface...Whats going on with my expensive sheets!

Any way to fix this? Whats this called? Anyone know a store chains that sells this type of sheet...I bought it at Homesense in a different town. We don't have one around here with these sheets.

P.S. If this is in the wrong forum just let me know...I saw a similar thread in this forum.

I'm sorry that happened to your sheets. I just look at sheets today. That is a very high thread count and Egyptian Cotton should be very good. Maybe you could search the internet and find where they are sold or the manufacturer. You should get a refund. That only happens to inexpensive sheets. I know our body can't take any roughage like that. Hope you are OK. You will find a lot of support and good info on this forum. Hope today is good day for you. Loretta

Default Store Locations

I did a quick search for HomeSense stores. HomeSense operates 68 stores in Canada. You did not say where you live, but their web site (homesense.ca) has a store locator that seems pretty easy to use.

In the United States, the same parent company operates a chain called HomeGoods. Their site (homegoods.com) also has a locator where you type in your zip code and it will show locations within 100 miles.

If you can find a store close to you, that will probably be the easiest way to get a refund or adjustment. If all of those stores are too far, I would try to deal with the on-line customer service for that chain.

Even though another store might sell the same brand of sheets, the original "selling dealer" should take care of the problem. They got your money to begin with, so they should do the work to satisfy you.

It sounds like you have a legitimate beef!

Good luck.

Mike
