Default Back from the NEW doc...

Hello Everyone...

Well, I seen my new doc today!! This guy is really nice, has alot of knowledge of RSD, and treats many ppl with it!! He took the time and talked to me for over a half an hr...

Anyhow, my 1st block is scheduled for this comming Friday..Not sure as of what time yet because the scheduling dept was close by the time I got out of there!! They are going to call me first thing in the morning!!

He said he is going to plan on doing a series of 3 blocks...Said it would be more effective!!! Does that sound right??

So Im having this done...He is going to be my primary treating doc for my RSD, plus he takes me ins...So, I have that going for me!!!

Take Care All...Your all wonderful!!

Always,
--Heidi

Hey Heidi,

This is very good news indeed; apart from the fact of the blocks themselves, something positive is being done for you, an uplifting of the spirits, you know - hope returns, and your sights move forward instead of that aweful feeling of stagnation, up against a brick wall.

Yes, they are usually done in 3s, and then adjusted according to how well they work for you - some people have a series of several more. But first things first, I really think this may make all the difference to you,
I really hope so, good luck with them!
all the best
