Smile Surfing today I ran across this site for Chronic Pain

I ran across this Chronic Pain site today & I have never run across it before. It happens to have another RSD Forum listed on it that is hosted by healthboard.com. They look alot like this & the old forum board that we were on. I even recognize a few names from here over there & I think even one name from way back on the old forum board. Also looks like you can find pain doctors & facilities from it. It also has some really cool pages. Soothing & the like.

Anyway looks to be a friendly place also.

Hi Debby,

Thanks it's always good to know new places...I expect we'll find old friends scattered across the net, since the lack of BT during the Summer.

Isn't Healthboard that Fascist place where you get banned for breathing?? - or have I muddled it up with something else...had to double the Neurontin today (you know I usually just take a small dose) so BraaaaiiiinFooooogggg.....just remember a board with some name like that where they banned me for mentioning a research study (go figure...).

(This is my edit - forgot the main reason for replying!!..) Curious mentioned the Chronic Pain forum here, which I finally got round to looking at. Really interesting, specially for me with other stuff going on too (arthritis, spinal stenosis...), I shall broaden my horizons

I 've bruised my left (RSD) wrist somehow between last night and this morning, hurts like crazy..
all the best.

Hello Debby: I am a member of Healthboards and the people there are friendly and helpful. Not so with the moderators. I once made a post and was describing how to not have a shot hurt so much when you get pricked with the needle. They actually put substituted ***** for the word prick. Now that word is listed in my dictionary and my grandson will have to learn how to spell it. Shame on those 3rd grade teachers!

Maybe I will get banned if a moderator finds out about this post on this board.

Regards, Lil

Smile Sheesh....

Prick. Prick prick prick prick. I am going to get grounded now! ROFL Some folks have minds in the gutters, you know? They actually MAKE words out to be "bad" when they aren't. I am sure that no one would have even thought of any other use of that word, until they used all of those *s!

I wonder what would have happened if I was on there, and talked about my old boyfriend I had in High school. His name was ****. LOL, I even found one of those little heart shaped pins, complete with rainbows and what not, that said "I Heart ****!" (Couldn't find a "heart" thingy to insert one there. LOL), and pinned it on my purse. Imagine the looks that I got for that! But seriously, that was his name. It wasn't MY fault if other folks had dirty minds.

Oh how FUNNY!

I just got curious, and "previewed" this post. Sure enough, my poor old boyfriend's name is all starred out. Let's see...He was a "III" in his family. His father went by "Rick", and my bf didn't want to go by "Richard", so he went by the other nickname for it, that rhymes with "Rick" but starts with a "D".

Sheesh.

Hope everyone has a good day today! (I'm wondering what else gets starred out here...LOL )

((hugs))
Jose who Hearted ****! ROFLMAO!!
