Default many many thanks to you all

Hi All,
Thanksgiving is around the corner. I want to take this opportunity to thank every one of you on this board for your feedback, support and encouragement.
I don't post too often due to inability to sit at any length w/o pain. I only post for questions mostly unless i really have something important to say.
I have not been feeling well. My heartburn seems to be out of control even with medication. I now often feel bloated and nasea and had a couple of vomiting. I feel dizzy and have headaches sometimes. I feel hot and then cold. I have terrible back/spine pain. I don't know what is wrong with me anyone.
Happy Thanksgiving and May God bless you all.

Hi Numb,

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. RSD actually causes so many things to go wrong in our bodies. It is an antomic disorder. That means involuntary organs are affected- like high blood pressure, low blood pressure, temperature of our bodies, up and down, blood pressure up and down, sweating a 'sign' Skin eruptions or rashes. ( i'm having a bout with them now.) My eating habits changed, not sure if its meds or just don't feel the same about certain foods. mainly meats, a vegetarian fits me well.

Ask your Dr. if Acid Reflux goes along with RSD. I know I have headaches nearly every day. I have both high and low blood pressure. Skin temperatures vary quickly.the bloating an edema is part of my picture. Sun is not good to be in without sun screen

The good thing, I had such deep depression for a long time, and now he switched meds on me for that. Went of two double dosed and went on 60 mg. of Cymbalta and just don't have that deep depression. Of course, we all have up and down days, but that hopeless depression is gone. My Dr. is a pschiatrist, neurologist, a pharmacologist. He has really been working with my head, and I'm letting go of my 'old life' and working on being grateful for what I can do and small goals at a time. Hope to travel a little again

The economy has effected our business, We've lost several jobs, but I'm going to force myself to get out a couple hours a day and get new replacements. It's not hard and I like it. Hope my health holds up. Will be balanced and stay home when I need to. Can mail out mailers off my lap top in bed

Galeon, have you ever looked up rsdrx.com It's a good site from a rsd Dr. in Florida. Under the sections for puzzles, there are a lot of questions and answers. Take care, Loretta

Default Hi Numb,

Your symptoms are exactly what I am dealing with. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I just had a colonoscopy to see what else is going on but I am sure the IBS is pretty bad.

I am on Prevacid for my stomach and it doesn't do the job at times now after 7 years on it so now I have to take other over the counter things to help it.

Ask your Dr. if you might be dealing with IBS and do read up on it.

Feel better soon.

Happy Thanksgivings.

Ada

Hi Ada,

IBS showed up on my last colonoscopy. I'm due for another one, my third. My eating habits have changed over the last few years. Basically a vegetarian now. Only certain foods that are easy on my stomach feel right. So, that is working for me right now.

Saw my Dr. today. Talked to him about HBOT treatment. I couldn't believe when he told me he had just order two of them for two clinics he is building. We talked about they work for RSD, which I had done a little research on. That is what I'm interested in for my full body or generalized RSD. A couple people here on this forum have portable units in their home. It would be so wonderful to get off all these meds. I've going down another 100 mg of Lyrica.

Hope today is a good day for you. We have rain and cooler weather coming, so I'm aching pretty bad. Take care, Loretta
