Default Respatory problems

Hi,
does anyone know if rsd can cause respatory problems. I have always had asthma but i have such a hard time breathing. I feel like i always have an upper respotary infection but i've taken different antibotics , sterorids and every nasal spray inhaler and alleregy pill. I will get well but then it will come back. I've had rsd for three years and just had a scs implanted two weeks ago. It is working well so far. My dr. Says rsd dosen't spread to organs just limbs. Can anyone help me??

Thanks, eileen

Heart Hi Eileen...

Are you on the Fentanyl Patch hun? or any other heavy narcotics? These too can cause respiratory problems, such as heavy breathing...

Hope this helps

Heather

Default Eileen

Hi,
I too am wondering if it is the meds. Respiratory depression is a common side effect of many of our meds ie: Fentanyl patch, MS Contin ,...etc
Have you spoken with your Doc about this? Let him know as soon as possible.
Take care
Di

Heart

I'm sorry to hear about your breathing problems . I also seem to have breathing difficulties that come and go. Mine were usually side effects to all of the meds that I am/was taking - one of the main meds that caused me problems was Lyrica so I had to come off it. I have had an Asthma test but for some reason, we never got the results back.

I agree with Heather and Diana, that I would have a look on the internet or on the drug cards found in most medications to see what the most common side effects are and would also speak to your doctor.

Please keep us updated when you can - I hope you get things sorted soon!

Alison.
