Smile I'm here, I'm here...............I see you, I do.........

Hey Roz,
Sure is easy to get lost amongst all the posts huh? LOL It is nice to have been missed. I missed ya'll this past summer too when I pretty much took a hiatus even though the board was down. Didn't know the old one was down until it had been down for hmmmmmmmm several weeks. I just pretty much sat out on the porch when it wasn't too darn HOT & read books. I missed reading. When I was down due to that car wreck in '91 to '97 I couldn't read due to that damnable headache I had from severe whiplash. Then I went back to work full time & was too tired to read *LOL* When I came back from that accident & from the headache I had, I pretty much came back with an "A" typed personality when before I had been so laid back & easy going. That all I did was work. When one goes from receptionist when hired to managing the whole insurance & real estate office what does that tell you???? So when RSD hit me out here in California it was so hard to settly for be disabled. And what this has to do with anything I have no idea *ROFLOLPMP* just call me "Windy" hahahahahahahahahahahaha I totally forgot what I was saying haahahahahahahahahahahahahaha oh geesh

Well as to my back, I do still have some muscle spasms on the left side of my back that grip me pretty nastily, but sitting down usually gets rid of them. This happens when on my feet too long. BUT I NO longer loose feeling of my legs & fall down. If I would fall now it wouldn't be due to my back. I now know I won't end up paralyzed. So yes the fusion took great. I don't go back to the doctor until a year from last August. I had the surgery on 11/16 & I went into the pool I think the week between Christmas & New Years or the week after New Years. I stayed with the pool until gas go so darn expensive I couldn't afford the darn drive. The reason Medicare kept paying for Physical Therapy was because I have RSD. You can have extended PT when you have RSD. You know how they put a cap on PT for Medicare patients??? Well they changed the rule for that if you have RSD. COOL huh?? Atleast something going to our favor by the government. I use to have the website bookmarked stating all that but I have no idea where it is now.

My hubby is now seeing my spine surgeon now. And once we get the new MRI's done then the Doc will know what he needs to do to help/fix my hubby's back too. Jack is pretty scared of having surgery, I mean who isn't right? But he has never has surgery ever & he is scared in case they do have to do a fusion especially. He says the thought of a piece of metal in his back gives him the heeby jeebies *LOL* So guess we will see. The thing is if they had sent my hubby back in '01 to a better back doctor they could have helped him cause he did have a herniated disc back then. We took in his MRI's from then. I would recommend Dr O to anyone who needs help with their back or neck. He really is good.

He looks so young though. Jack asked him if he was old enough to drive & Dr O laffed over that. He actually is 40 but man he looks like he is in his 20's No wrinkles or anything for 40. He also loves reading, & reading the same type of books that I read, SciFi Fantasy. So we always have to talk about the latest books we have read or are reading. He is such a "KEWL" doc.

Well sorry, didn't intend to ramble on so but ya'll know me, right?? *LOL*

Anyway good, really good to see you too.
