Getting Lumbar Sympathetic Nerve Blocks keeps me working. BUT, getting them with Botox is CRUCIAL for me. Without that, the pain relief just doesn't last very long. With it, I am able to get by getting 4 annually.
Stanford can do Botox with LSBs. Call around and ask.... it is still a newer modality to add to the treatment. FYI: I have had RSD for 4 years in my right foot. Spread to my left foot started a couple of years ago. I am sensitive on my calves but it hasn't spread beyond that. |
