Hello from another Wisconsinite
Hello Anna Banana,
Wecome from another newbie from Wisconsin. Actually, I live about 20 miles from you. Hope this forum is a good source of information for you. Annie Poo |
Welcome Anna. Mark is right you are a very pretty young lady, and it is sad that your friends have kind of left you behind due to the RSD. How did you end up with RSD?
It is good to have you join is, and as you'll soon find out you'll have a lot of mother hens here.. :) Just ask Frogga, she can tell you about the mother hens.. LOL I'm glad you found us because even though people have family and friends, no one can know what you are dealing with unless they too have it. Welcome aboard.. Hugs, Janet |
thanks everyone who responded!!!
to answer Jo55's question, i just today saw my first pain management doctor. It was EXTREMELY frustrating, because just like every other doctor he had a hard time believing that i was in soooooo much pain. mostly just because my leg isnt very swollen. it seems swollen to me, but ive never been one to swell up much anyways. he kept pointing the fact that i wasnt swollen out to me though. He put me on lidoderm patches, if that makes sense. i really have no idea whats going on with this whole RSD thing and i dont really know of any treatment options or anything, im just trying to wrap my head around all of it still. I contracted RSD after a supposed stress fracture to the middle metatarsals of my left foot. But now, they arent sure if it really was a fracture or if my RSD was just sorta spontaneous. Once again, i dont konw if any of this makes sense, but im trying!!!! You all are just way to nice!!! I dont think ive ever had anyone tell me i was pretty before!!! Its just usually "Anna, well i guess shes not deformed or anything..." Oh well, im fine with being the ugly duckling! Oh, and bring on the mini-bus. I'm ready!!! I really only can cook Chicken flavored Ramen noodles, but if they have turkey ones ill bust out a big ol' pot of those (theyre more festive in my opinion haha) You'll have to brave the frigid tundra that is the north woods of Wisconsin. (actually its really really really nice here right now!!!) Hope you like cheese. :D |
Hey Anna. I saw you somehwere before. I remember your name :) Yep...we're mother hens! In fact, I hope you're wearing your winter coat when you venture outside young lady! I LOVE cheese! Does that mean you're sending us all some for Christmas? Colby here, please! And EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA sharp cheddar for my SO (maybe you can explain this...why do they put an expiration date on cheese that's over 15 years old already anyway???)
Hope you enjoy yourself. We're a "shootoff" from the Old Braintalk (OBT) - which is now BT1 (braintalk 1) from when it crashed, so ppl had somewher to go. We liked it here so much we decided to stay. No fist fights over here, just mark cracking jokes daily and sending us pictures of his ugly brothers, and letting us look up his nose. It's not pretty. Instead of cheese, send him some nose tweezers please :) Hope you like it here! |
