Default Neurotropin clinical trial???? Anyone done it?

I was hoping to find some info on the ongoing clincal trial being conducted at the NIH involving Neurotropin. I know that it is still ongoing but I was wondering if I could get some anecdotal feedback from individuals here who may have participated. As one can see from previous threads, it is a trial for RSd/CRPS sufferers involving a medication long used in Japan to treat neuropathic diseases and is being looked at for a variety of problems, including RSD. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

BTW- For those who have seen my limited profile (which I will add to soon since I have only been on this site for a couple of months) my wife is the long-term RSD sufferer and me, her researcher. Thanks again!

Bigbug, This is the first I have heard of this. I'll have to do some research. Thanks for bringing to our attention. I hope your wife is doing better today. You are her champion! Hang in there. Di

How blessed your wife is to have such a supportive husband!!! I am so happy for her and appreciative of you! I, too, am very lucky to have a supportive spouse, but I know many of us here are not so fortunate. This disease is constantly in flux in our bodies....it is hard for US to understand, much less someone that is not experiencing it. ANY questions you may have are welcomed here.

Thanks for bringing this medicinal trial to our attention. I'll certainly do some research into it!!

Thanks, also, for being your wife's researcher!!

From what i have read they are using this as a trial for crps and fibromyalgia. Funny like i say that the meds for fibro were used for crps first.
