Confused Hinew member with RSD

I was diagnosed with RSD about 4 years ago after an accident and much spinal damage. I deal with pain with minimal meds and much stretching and breathing. I have recently developed a new area being attacked possibly by RSD-my right eye. I have had the spasm in my right eye for about 3 years and now I am experiencing difficulty with the vision in the right eye. Has anyone elsae experienced this. I have worn the same eyeglass script for 35 years and now I'm having trouble with this right eye.

We are not sure if my eyes are part of the rsd or not. I have been to 11 eye docs and 40 plus apts in a year. I have a lot of pain and my vision is impacted. Have you been to a neuro? When my pain got so bad they did another mri of my brain to rule out something pressing or fluids. I know that people do have rsd in their eyes though the pain docs I have seen that are very familiar with rsd seem to feel it is more limbs that are hit but even here you hear stated how someones organs have rsd. Do you get migraines? Have you been to an eye specialist just to rule that out as well?

LBCD:I am so sorry I did not read the part about having the spasams (sp?) in your R eye. How long do they last? Do you have an eye clinic in your area that has DR's who deal with cases like your's? I have heard about neuromyositis which can be complicated by inflammation of muscles which comes in contact with affected nerves, which could affect the eye.So please see a Dr very soon! Once Again so sorry about my first post. Breezy55
