Confused Ermm...Ok? But what Christmas Music?

Ok, but what Christmas songs do The Emerson Lake and Palmer (ELP) Sting (or even the Police), or Boston sing? I mean, I like all of those groups too....but I don't believe that I have ever heard any Christmas music by them? If there is, put up a link so we can give it a listen. LOL

Since I think that I might have gotten folks confused because TSO is a rock group (basically...there is an actual term for what they do, but as usual, it is escaping me right now. So sorry...), and I think that made folks zone in more on the Rock Music factor than the Christmas Song factor...here is another of my ALL TIME Favorite Christmas songs. This one is sung by the Choir at Ashland University (or college..sorry, but I am not familiar with the school). I am putting up the link that I got in one of the groups that I belong to for you all to listen to too. Thing is, it is an ecard, and one that you have to do some clinking to get different things to go on in the card (Kinda cool, those types of cards ), but the last thing is to click to get to listen to the Choir sing "Silent Night"...and they do so a cappella. I have always loved this song, and used to even sing it to my kids as a lullaby.

Anyway..I am not so hot about the music going on during the card (and all of the clicking process), but getting to the Choir singing the first verse of Silent Night at the end makes the whole thing worth it.

Here is the Link..

( this is where it is taking you, for those that like to know that before clicking on a link, or incase it gives my link gives trouble, you can copy and paste this in: http://ecard.ashland.edu/2004admission/index.html )

I hope everyone has a Wonderful and Merry Christmas.

Love and ((hugs))
Jose

Red face I'm confused...not your fault; my brain is mush right now. LOL

If there's something in particular I should be listening to for focus on these guys, I would appreciate the feedback.

Mike,
I am not sure what you are asking here (Underlined part)? It is probably because my brain is all over used and sorta stressed right now (trying to get everything ready to leave on Weds, and rapidly running out of time, and STILL have so much to do! LOL). I only put up the link to them because I really like them, and my favorite song that they do is the "Christmas Eve/ Sarajevo 12/24" which is basically a rocked out version of "The Carol of the Bells". The other songs that I listed are very good too ("O Come All Ye Faithful/O Holy Night", "Faith Noel", "Wizards in Winter" which is an original song of theirs, and so many others). Most of their CD's are only Christmas ones...I think that they have only one other that isn't, and it is Beethoven stuff. They are a large group of musicians that get together to make these albums that they have and be TSO...but they each do other things too.

I am not sure if that answered you or not? Like I said, I was kinda confused as to what you were asking? So, I thought maybe you were thinking that they had other albums that they did, and then did like so many other artists do and released a "Special" Christmas album every year or so. That isn't the case....like I said only one of their CD's isn't a Christmas one.

Hope that helps? If not, let me know. I am sorry for the leaky and rusty brain....it is a little worse than normal. So, just let me know if I got it TOTALLY wrong, Ok? No problem..I will try to do better then. LOL

Hope you have a VERY Merry Christmas!

((hugs))
