There is a site "One Hanes Place" that actually has a sock called "World's Softest Socks"...they are about $5 a pair...I have worn them for years b4 I got RSD but now that I have it in my foot so bad, they are a lifesaver, they last for years, so well worth the $5 but I think you can get 3 pair for like $11...no I don't work for Hanes...lol...hope this helps

thanks hanes socks is all i wear but have to wear mens socks as the womans are way to tight for me

Thank you. I have issues with socks as well. I have so many I bought and don't wear I could open a shop. Also what I find helpful is to turn them inside out and I also by mine bigger sometimes in plus size and I am thin but it gives more room.

WalMart carries some diabetic soft socks too...they tend to be less expensive there. We have discussed this many times on the PN board, BTW.
