Hi Ali! I guess we're both pretty new at having "issues": my 2 year anniversay of MS dx is in 3 weeks.

I've read your posts for the past year (since I've been on NT) and had not realized that you had sprained your ankle! I didn't know that could be the start of RSD sx!

A year ago I was on crutches from a broken ankle. Glad it didn't turn into RSD!

You have such a good and positive attitude. I hope things improve for you, sweetie.

Thank you all SO much for your kind words and support - it really means a lot and I honestly dont know what I would do without all of you guys - you're the best!!

It was pretty tough dealing with the anniversary as I think it made me realise that I have had this monster for 2 years now and there is still no signs of it going into remission. My PTs are now starting to realise that they need to do something else to try and get the Dystonia from the RSD under control as my leg has been rotated out to the side for 2 years now and there is still no signs of it coming back into line no matter how many meds or therapies we try. We are now considering using Botox as a last resort and I see my Neuro PT on Wednesday to discuss that - i'm a little scared about it though as I have had a nerve blolck and it made me worse but hopefully this should work once and for all!! I know it wont cure the pain unfortunately but hopefully, it will reduce the dystonia and some of the pain that goes along with it. I'll let you all know what the PT's say when I see them again on Wednesday!!

I'm so glad that I can help you all just by replying to posts - you have all done so much for me so its the least I can do!! It's hard at times trying to be positive when all I want to do is cry in bed but I 'manage' somehow. I still have my days where all I do is cry and lay in bed but try and find something to take my mind off the pain even if it is just for a little bit!!

Twink - Yes, you can get RSD after an ankle sprain. I think its one of the most popular injuries actually that turns into RSD! It's scary thinking that just an ankle sprain can turn into RSD but it can unfortunately! You can get RSD from any injury and it can come on on it's own sometimes without any known reason! I hope youre doing well!

Thanks again everyone for your kind words and support - it means a lot!
