Hi Mary,

I'm SO glad to hear that your doctor is wanting to rule out other possibilities before putting everything down to being "just" RSD!!! It really sounds like your doctor knows what he is talking about and wants the best for you!

I know most of the time unfortunately, all of the symptoms turn out to be the RSD but it's so much better to be safe rather than sorry. My Doctor always seems to put everything down to RSD now and it can get so frustrating at times - especially if I am having new problems that he hasn't paticulary seen before.

I really hope that the tests go well and that you get some answers to your problems. I have balance problems also - they used to be really bad months ago and I was wheelchair bound from them. My Doctor said it was from the RSD and that it is fairly common although not everyone gets that symptom.

Take care of yourself and know that I am thinking about you!!

Alison.
