I think that is the same show that Zoe's Pearson's (the girl from England) plight with RSD was on. I saw that one. Keep us posted.

I saw that episode a while ago on Belgian television (VijfTV) - I think last year or something. Amazing story. Finally something was broadcast about RSD where I live!!!

If you search YouTube for that episode on mystery diagnosis, you'll find it posted in two parts!

I am happy Cynthia was able to actually get cured. It is about time RSD see more air time to get people to realize actually how large of a problem this disease is! Thank goodness she never got internal.

My mom saw this on TLC too and I saw the you tube. I saw this doctor who they interviewed. I think Cynthia still runs a support group for rsd in the area. I hope oneday we see something about RSD that is more in depth on Oprah etc. I wish they would go more into depth on the struggles with proper treatment and how many things need to be tried. I know some have luck with just the nerve medications but for many it takes a lot of different treatments, doctors so on.

Thumbs up

This is a very useful and fascinating show.

There is a lot to be learned from it.
Patients ignored.
Wrong diagnosis
That somewhere there is a solution!

Many odd facts about the body, genetics, and infections.

I really can only watch it occasionally....it triggers me emotionally sometimes with the stories! But I salute Discovery Channel for airing it!
