Pain!

I'm so sorry to hear about your pain. I have been having alot of pain also. I am in NJ and we have been having rain. My doctor said that shouldn't effect it but I believe he is wrong. My sister has MS and we both complain in bad weather. I had to have my Percocet renewed early and dr gave me a hard time. I had some surgery 2 weeks ago and wasn't given anything else so I needed it early. Also, pain is getting worse.

I find icy/hot or bengay to help. It seems to help for a short time but better than no time! Feel better! Also, I agree, maybe a new dr? Pain stinks and really messes up your life. I also have an issue with pain meds. They don't always work or I have to take more than most people. I do not get any high from it, just some relief. It only takes the edge off so I can tolerate daily activities.

Good luck! Linda

Thanks for the response, at this point I'll try anything. I feel the same about the meds i don't even get high when I have been sedated for procedures (like injections). My doctor used to be really understanding and now he is getting a little weird. Maybe because all the other meds (like antidepressants) he tries to put me on give me such bad side effects I can't take them. Thanks again,

I'm so sorry. The barometric changes seem to be a major trigger rather than the actual weather although I hear the word snow and I cringe at the thought snow=cold. To get immediate relief I'll either stick my leg in the hot tub or run hot water over the leg. In desperation one night, I looked through everything I could think of and found some Bactine spray (what you use on kids cuts & scratches) and as it hassome anesthetic properties tried it on my leg. Actually gave enough relief so I could sleep. I bought a Multipoo after my accident whose my pet therapy, the love of my life, and who likes to walk on my bad leg. I've got her pretty well trained so when I say "Ouch" she knows she's hurting me! Hope it helps to know that it's Spring in South Carolina and we're sending it north your way! ONE MOMENT CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING!
