miller
i ams goin thro the same thing right now. i have teeth (molars) that are infected already been on 12 days of levaquin the pain went away for maybe 1-2 wks.. back with a vengece.. i dont have dental insurance. and have already paid 5k for teeth that had to be pulled out in 04 along with things for my TMJ . i dont have the money right now to have them fixed. went to an oral sur. last month that wil not do anything becuas ei am too young this is his reason.. because the rest of my molars need to be pulled i wont do root canal. i now am goin to have to go back to the uni hospital when i had the last done for 2xs more money because no one else will touch me and i have to have sedation becuase lido doesnt numb or novacaine.

but yes rsd roots your teeth the meds help to enable this to root the teeth.

I had the tooth out last Thursday, and was still in pain today so I went back to the dentist. It's dry socket. Leave it to me to not heal correctly! I just posted something on the dental issues board, too. I am having an awful pain in my NECK, too, and it feels like someone punched me in the jaw. I'm wondering how long to expect this to last? I also have a fear of necrosis, since I was on Fosomax and Boniva for a bit last year, and of course if there's one to have complications with something, it's me. I'm hoping this heals up "normally," but I'm wondering how long I should give it before I really suspect something else to be wrong? They did treat it with the medicated guaze, and the inside of the mouth feels better, but the jaw and neck (and ear) still hurt. Pain, pain, go away!!

No, I don't think I have tmj (yet!) With the way I'm always locking my jaw and grinding, though, that'll probably be next!

Maybe you could get into the Guiness Book?! The holder of the most painful medical problems! Sounds like a sister to want to analyze you! I'm a psychologist by training, too, but I chose to go into teaching college instead of practice. But my family has been well-analyzed!
