I have never seen anyone with Alzheimer's have a purple limb. RSD is not Alzheimer's, at least I wasn't DX with that. I really don't think HBO would help Alzheimer's by itself. She must be on another treatment as well.

I would like to know the Pulmonary MD that is recommending such a thing, because he is at high risk for looseing his license.

B'Wheet,
I'm sorry for what you went through.
But pulease!
Don't focus it on the rest of us, whom it could help, tremendously!

I hope you feel well,
All my love,
and peace on you!

Hi,

It is good to read both sides, or the pros and cons of any treatment.

Hopefully the thoughts and info provided will insure that any & all treatments are checked out thoroughly.

Most of us here have different levels of all of the many conditions/diseases on these forums, and we are all individuals with our own body chemistry too.

Most likely why some meds or tx will help one and not others.

*I guess I'm just saying the facts and ideas are good to share, but share your thoughts in a kind and respectful way.*

Diane,

Your PM you sent me. You shared with me that you were helping some lady with Alzheimer's that was on antibiotics as well.

Which, HBO could help penetrate antibiotics.

Are you on antibiotics yourself?

Hugs, Roz

even if a PM was sent, the guidelines clearly state that PMs are confidential and not to be posted about on the forums

The members of this forum are able to make their own decisions on the treatments that would benefit them and IMO it is rather alarmist for posts about "dangers" to be made this way on a treatment that seems to also have many benefits. *ALL* treatments carry potential risks. It for members to make decisions based on their own research on potential benefit vs risk

I am sorry but this thread is now closed
