Default What's your take on this?

A very good friend of ours was buried one week after Bill was. He was such a good person. The last time I saw him was at Dustin's birthday party in August.

We talked at length about Silvia Browne, the Psychic, that is on the Montel Williams show every week.

Pete paid her 850 dollars to have her tell him not to worry that he was going to live another 15 years. She also told him other crap about his kids and what kind of field they were going to get in which is not even close to what they are doing today.

In 2001 when I was in Ky. my sister-in-law talked me into going to see a Physic there. We went twice. He did tell me a lot of things that I couldnot believe he could have known. One thing I would never have guessed and I won't talk about it here but he described my Thoracic Dr. and my PCP to a tee. He told me that he thought I had Lupus, I do have all of the symptoms of it and am allergic to sulfa which reacts on me the way Lupus does.
He told me several other things which I was impressed with but I still don't know about Physic. He charged me and her 25 dollars for 1 hour. It was 30 for one or 25 for 2 people so we split it. That was reasonable for that if it was fun. Pete actually told me that a lot of things the Physic that I saw told me is what she told him also. DO they go to schools for this?

Back to Sylvia Browne, why would she tell this man he would live another 15 years instead of saying there was a good chance or a possibility of it. He put so much faith in what she said. I know too that it might have got his hopes up but it kept him from taking care of some personal business along the way.

I know a lot of you most likely watch her, I don't anymore. You don't see anyone coming back on there to say she was right. I do think I have seen one person and others said none so that is not much of a testamony to her Physic Abilities. Also I am thinking people have to pay to be on that show to ask her one question. I might be wrong but I'm doubting it.

Any thoughts on this whole thing.

Ada

Fibrofog here..... I forgot to say that Pete had terminal cancer for 3 years, had spent 100,000 or more on trying to beat it. By the time he talked to her the Drs. told him they could do no more for him.

Hey Ada,....(big hugs) I watched her one time on there, and that was enough for me to not watch again. I thought she came across as snotty and full of herself..that was enough for me. I am so sorry he put all his cards on her. The only person we can put our faith in is God....(just my opinion).

I went to a palm reader one time, and they would ask me certain questions and play off that as to what they were tellin me, needless to say nothing they told me was true, or came true...So I personally just don't beleive in it.
